The second round of applications for the Digital Government Partnership (DGP) Innovation Fund for 2020/21 is now open.

Applications close — 10 March 2021

The fund provides an opportunity for government organisations to collaborate and invest in early-stage, cross-agency pilots and prototypes.

The fund is not just about getting innovative ideas up and running, it also provides valuable insights around where system innovation is taking place.

It’s a unique opportunity for agencies to build skills and share experiences while testing new ideas for joining government up behind the scenes.

Nine innovation projects across 6 government entities have already been awarded grants from the Innovation Fund in the 2020/21 year to progress digital and data innovation in the public sector.

Funding recipients

How to apply

Applications can be made by public service departments, departmental agencies, non-public service departments and Crown entities by 10 March 2021.

Applications must show how the initiative aligns with government priorities and the Strategy for a Digital Public Service focus areas.
