GEA-NZ dimension: Infrastructure
The infrastructure dimension is one of the 4 core dimensions that represent the operational aspects of your enterprise architecture.
The infrastructure dimension of the framework ensures that the infrastructure components of an enterprise are adequately understood, while the related understanding the infrastructure landscape of an agency.
For this dimension infrastructure is defined as the generic, underlying platforms upon which specific/customised capabilities (solutions, applications and software services) may be deployed. These can consist of hardware, software and delivery components, including cloud services. The term platform used in this context covers physical as well as technology infrastructure components.
